More About Lara
Lara is relentless in her efforts to achieve her goals and have fun in the process. With a full ride ROTC scholarship, she got her BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, and then a MS from Stanford University in Aeronautics and Astronautics. She spent 4.5 years in the Air Force at Los Angeles Air Force Base working on experimental design satellites, launch vehicle concepts, and propulsion technology. She then spent another 8 years in the commercial sector working on radar and satellite systems design, integration, and testing.
After getting married, she left her aerospace engineering career to start an even more important and equally fun one – raising her two awesome kids. Her husband was a career military officer, so they moved often, acquiring and selling a lot of real estate along the way. The family moved to Utah in 2007, and although the plan was to move back to California after military retirement, Utah got under their skin. In 2012, they found their perfect lot in Park City, and by 2015 they had built their dream home – in the middle of the woods on a mountain top – and become residents of this amazing community.
Lara has lived in Park City for 8 years now. She has taken advantage of the amazing hiking and biking trails, the world class skiing, the cool old west mining town vibe with an elegant upgrade, and the worldly environment with the benefits of a small town. Her kids have attended all levels of the local schools, and have participated in many of the community activities. We just can’t believe all this community has to offer!
Once Lara’s daughter got her driver’s license, it allowed Lara to only be a part time chauffeur. Within two short months, she took her real estate licensing course and passed the exam, and dove full force into her Real Estate career. With over 100 transactions under her belt, she is ready and super excited to help you with your real estate needs. She will find you a home or get your home rented or sold! She will not rest until you are happy!
